Shannon and Wyatt in Namibia

As our safari draws to an end I can’t help but reflect on how great it has been to share this experience with Shannon and her son Wyatt.

As the old saying goes we have saved the best for last (or at least some of it!!). Wyatt! You definitely have a lucky horseshoe buried somewhere 😂Here is how the Safari went – make sure to see the excellent buck at the end!

Our Safari starts on a great foot as the trail cam is showing some great opportunity on the very first night. And as fate would have it, not long after, it was go time for our client! A beautifully placed shot made for a clean kill and an absolute stunner of a cat! African Leopard down, and what a beautiful Tom it is!

Our Safari continues as we scout the vast open areas of this region. We still have plenty of species to go and didn’t waste any time. Pictured here is Wyatt looking, and finally bagging his stunner of a Zebra!

Next up was Shannon, who was quick & accurate enough to achieve a beautiful double down on a Dik-dik pair as we continue on what is truly a fantastic Safari!

For the next two days, we took the track of a very big Cape Eland bull. It was hard work but well worth it! During our tracking, we also saw a young Leopard cross the road in front of us in the middle of the day – a rare sighting! We finally managed to catch up with the Eland and boy!! To top it all off, we also managed to hunt a fantastic old black-faced impala – these Impala’s bodies are much larger than that of the Southern (Common)  Impala.

As the Safari draws to a close, we had more antelope species on the wish list. Hard hunting and experience is key, and having a good shot as a client makes it that much better 😉 On our last day, we were extremely fortunate to connect with this once in a lifetime Waterbuck bull!

All good things come to a close, and so too with this Safari. It was an excellent experience as always, and once again we say goodbye to lifetime friends. We will see you back in Africa soon!
